Global manufacturer has an opening for a Human Resource Manager. This postion would work strategically with management as a Business Partner to support, initiate and drive HR processes and identify opportunities to maximize business performance. Identify unique business needs, develop recommendations and provide solutions. This person will be involved in many projects and will be part of the team for the implementation of a new HRIS system. Provide compliance training for managers and supervisors in areas such as OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, workers compensation, harassment, and other areas covered by federal/state regulations.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or university, major in Human Resource or related field.
Five to seven years of human resources generalist experience. Previous management experience is a plus.
Assist, advise managers in HR practices, provide guidance on regulations, contract language, policies.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), problem-solving, conflict resolution and organizational skills. The ability to communicate (and train/present) information.
Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS systems.
Educate and interpret company policies, procedures, culture and goals to employees.
Ideal candidate will be creative, energetic and can think outside the box.
Manufacturing experience is not required it is a plus.
Any exposure to Canadian HR business is beneficial.
