Established and successful leading global supplier in Oakland County is looking for a dynamic Accountant to complete a long term contract at their company. This position will interface with top management and have the ability to learn from experienced financial individuals in a publicly traded company.
The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in a Accounting role, a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, the ability to express findings in a professional presentation, a polished demeanor, and advanced working knowledge of MS Excel. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus, not a requirement; large systems experience would compliment this position. (Hyperion). Public Company experience would be an added advantage but this organization will train the right person in the industry.
Some responsibilities include:
Financial Statement preparation for multiple locations
Month end close process
Account reconciliation review for multiple International locations
Review International journal entries
Intercompany reconciliation and billings for multiple locations
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or equivalent
5 or more years experience
Microsoft Excel
Hyperion a Plus
Good communication skills
Good organization skills
Reliability and a strong work ethic
