Growing Global Automotive Supplier is in need of a Human Resource Generalist. This position would provide leadership and support in functional areas of human resources including employee relations and recruitment in a plant environment. Responsibilities
- Employee Relations within a manufacturing environment – coach employees and management through issues
- Data analysis to make recommendations to HR management for corrective action and continuous improvement
- Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints
- Communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
- Supports training and competency initiatives and new hire orientation
- Facilitates responsibilities and recruitment of personnel
- Maintains personnel files
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree / 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2-3 years of HR employee relations experience in a manufacturing environment
- Employment law exposure (union and non union)
- Microsoft Office including advanced Excel
- Ability to research and analyze various different types of data information
- Experience using ADP Payroll and/or SAP HR
