Well established automotive manufacturing company located in Oakland County is seeking a Finance Treasury Manager to add to their team. The position manages and supervises all aspects of treasury including cash flow, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities, general ledger preparation and payroll. The Finance Manager supervises a staff of five. Strong interpersonal communication skills and manufacturing experience are required. RESPONSIBLIITES
- Manage all aspects of cash flow.
- Forecast daily and weekly requirements and execute daily financing decisions.
- Manage the company’s foreign currency purchases and FX hedging strategy.
- Supports budget and forecasting activities.
- Coordinate year-end audit reporting requirements and work with external auditors to meet audit deadlines.
- Responds to inquiries from the CFO and VP-Finance, and other finance and firm wide managers regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
- Assist VP-Finance to ensure a clean and timely year end audit.
- Manage all manual and automated accounts payable disbursements.
- Oversees and processes weekly, bi-weekly, monthly payroll and year end payroll reporting.
- Performs ad hoc payroll adjustments, such as retro increases, bonuses, etc.
- Ensures compliance with all payroll-related government and tax reporting.
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure of the subsidiary.
- Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
- Coordinate insurance renewals and claims for subsidiary.
- REQUIREMENTS
- Education BA/BS in Accounting / Finance
- Manufacturing ERP System Background
- Five+ years prior supervisory experience in the treasury, and financial reporting/general ledger area.
- Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
