Growing Global Automotive Supplier is in need of a Human Resource Generalist. This position would provide leadership and support in functional areas of human resources including employee relations and recruitment in a plant environment. Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations within a manufacturing environment – coach employees and management through issues
  • Data analysis to make recommendations to HR management for corrective action and continuous improvement
  • Responds to employee relations issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints
  • Communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
  • Supports training and competency initiatives and new hire orientation
  • Facilitates responsibilities and recruitment of personnel
  • Maintains personnel files

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree / 5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2-3 years of HR employee relations experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Employment law exposure (union and non union)
  • Microsoft Office including advanced Excel
  • Ability to research and analyze various different types of data information
  • Experience using ADP Payroll and/or SAP HR
