Well established Oakland County International Automotive Supplier is seeking a Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst to assist the Controller with general accounting, financial analysis/reporting, month and year end close and continuous departmental improvements. Responsibilities:
•Perform month-end closings by preparing and posting all accruals, deferrals, and other adjusting and required journal entries for a entity environment
•Perform account analysis and reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts including cash, inter-company, AR/AP, fixed assets, inventory, accrued/deferred revenue/expense, and other active G/L accounts
•Review GL account balances and activity to propose/prepare adjusting journal entries for yearend audit and working paper files
•Prepare and timely submit all required month-end financial and management reports including variance research/reporting
•Hands on interaction with the Operations team to provide expertise on cost management
•Assist in definition, monitoring, and improvement of internal controls to ensure safeguarding of assets and proper financial reporting
•Assist in the definition, creation, and roll out of corporate accounting policies, processes and procedures; ensure proper application of and compliance with policies

Requirements:
•BS degree in Accounting/Finance or related
•5+ years Accounting Manufacturing experience
•Advanced Excel
•Large ERP software experience
•Solid team player
