Well established, Oakland County Manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This hands-on opportunity will be responsible for financial modeling, budgeting and annual business plan, variance analysis, develop and oversee initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Analysis and development of the monthly consolidated financial budget and annual business plan including variance analysis and explanations
- Consolidation of financial results into the various financial model files
- Create and analyze the excel models and simulations used in forecasting
- Analyze the financial statements produced by the accounting process, along with other financial and operational data
- Preparation of the monthly management reporting packages (actuals and budget)
- Build financial database by identifying sources of information, assembling, verifying, and backing up data
- Complete monthly special project accounting/budgeting/forecasting workstreams
- Develop and oversee initiatives and projects to achieve targets
- Assist with product costing and pricing
- Track and analyze cash flow drivers
- Ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical capabilities and exceptional financial modeling and analysis skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
- 3-5 years of experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Power Query / Power BI experience a plus
- Income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow consolidation experience
