Well established, Oakland County Manufacturer is accepting applications for an Accountant/Financial Analyst. You will work with very talented and dedicated individuals under a supportive management approach. The ideal candidate will perform various accounting functions including financial statements, variance analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, fixed assets and audits. RESPONSIBILITES:
- Month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, FA, and month-end account reconciliations.
- Develop supporting schedules for financial reviews.
- Maintain Fixed Asset records.
- Prepare annual audit supporting schedules.
- Analyze part and program profitability for variances to run rate and budget.
- Administer the expense reporting system.
- Prepare supporting schedules for tax returns.
- Ad-hoc reports, special projects, and analyses as requested by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting in manufacturing environment
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Experience with a large ERP system
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
